Pre-solicitation Notice This is a pre-solicitation notice. This pre-solicitation notice is not a request for formal quotes. Solicitation 36C24626Q0797 will be issued on or about July 21, 2026. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 06, Network Contract Office NCO 06, Fayetteville VAMC located 2300 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville NC 28301 intends to solicit for scrap metal & waste removal service contract via a Firm-Fixed Price contract. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and Small Business Administration (SBA) database under the applicable NAICS. The applicable NAICS code is 339113 with a size standard of 750 employees. Contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov and Small Business Certification (sba.gov). The vendor must be registered in the System for Award Management database to be eligible for an award. Registration is free, and potential offerors are encouraged to visit the SAM website, as no contract can be awarded to any offeror not registered in SAM. The VA will only consider proposals from contractors registered as mentioned above and not on the Excluded Parties List. All correspondence and responses shall be via e-mail to [email protected]. Offerors are responsible for downloading all documents including amendments from Contracting Opportunities at sam.gov website without further notification from the Contracting Officer.
