The Department of Veterans Affairs, Southern Nevada VA Healthcare System, intends to award a firm-fixed-price, sole source contract to Technical Safety Services (TSS) for specialized cleanroom certification, environmental monitoring, and testing services required for multiple pharmacy and compounding areas within the medical center.

TSS is the only known vendor capable of providing all required semi annual, annual, and monthly testing services in accordance with USP <797>, USP <800>, CETA standards, and VA healthcare performance requirements.

These services include airflow and leak testing, particle counting, airflow visualization studies, viable air and surface sampling, room pressure and air exchange verification, laminar flow unit and isolator certification, and preparation of formal compliance documentation.

The integrated nature of these services requires a vendor with established expertise, calibrated instrumentation, and the ability to perform testing without disrupting critical pharmacy operations.

Based on the Government s market research and previous performance history, no other vendor has demonstrated the ability to meet all required service frequencies, technical specifications, compliance standards, and facility specific operational needs.

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
