What this contract is for
Description. (i) The 786 Force Support Squadron (786 FSS) is seeking to procure a 20-Foot-High Cube Refrigerated Container for the in-flight kitchen at Ramstein Airbase, Germany. This purchase will be solicited under PSC 4110 and NAICS 333241. Quotes must include shipping to Ramstein Air base as well as installation at the site. This equipment is essential to support temperature-sensitive storage and logistics operations under diverse environmental conditions. (ii) In accordance with FAR 12.201-1(c), this pre-solicitation is published on the Government Point of Entry (GPE) to document the requirement. The Government will conduct a competitive acquisition and award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer represents the best value and is most advantageous, price and other factors considered. Funding has been received; however, the anticipated award date will be determined following the evaluation of quotations. (vi) All responsible sources may submit a quotation, bid, or proposal, as appropriate, which will be fully considered by the agency. (viii) An offeror’s proposed product must meet all specifications listed in the salient characteristics document and satisfy the evaluation criteria outlined in the solicitation in order to be eligible for award. Technical data to assist in proposal development is attached to this notice.

How to bid on this
This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.
- Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
- Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
- Check the set-aside listed above and confirm your business actually qualifies for it before you spend time on a proposal. See our guide to set-asides if the category is unfamiliar.
- Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
