What this contract is for

The purpose of this Amendment 0002 is to extend the solicitation response date. The closing date and time for receipt of proposals is hereby extended from 24 JULY 2026 at 2:00 P.M. CDT to 21 AUGUST 2026 at 2:00 P.M. CDT. All other terms and conditions of solicitation W519TC-26-R-0030 remain unchanged. This Request for Proposal (RFP) will result in a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) award to procure Rocket Motor MT32 OR MD98 as follows; MT32 NSN: 1377-01-255-1650 Part Number: 50436-11 or MD98 NSN: 1377-01-318-1830 Part Number: 1340-1. This RFP is restricted to one or a limited number of responsible sources, as authorized by 10U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) 6.103-1(b). To be eligible for award, the Offeror must submit a valid Qualification Acceptance Letter, or Government approved equivalent, signed by an authorized Government engineer verifying their status as a qualified source for this requirement.

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
