It seeks information from sources that can provide bulk and retail fuel services.
No solicitation is being issued at this time.
For reference purposes, this SAM notice is numbered SPE603-26-R-5X71.
The amount of information available at this time is limited.
This notice is also issued for the purpose of market research in accordance with Federal Acquisitions Regulation (FAR) Part 10.
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) - Energy - FESBA seeks potential qualified businesses that are able to provide services to discharge Government-owned aviation turbine fuel at DFSP Bordentown, NJ and transfer it to the Government-owned pipeline at the McGuire AFB, NJ.
The DFSP Bordentown dock berth and mooring facilities shall be capable of receiving and berthing a barge not to exceed 4,200 deadweight tonnage (DWT), 300 feet length overall (LOA), with a minimum draft of 10 feet at mean low water from the dock to the open water.
The facilities should be equipped with a turning dolphin capable of accommodating the lateral forces induced when turning a vessel and provide mooring points for barge mooring lines.
The Contractor shall provide a detailed description of any port restriction/requirement, along with height restrictions from ships manifold to the waterline during loading, as well as a detailed schematic of the berth and mooring facilities showing the minimum and maximum capabilities to include current dredging charts for evaluation.
The Contractor’s capability shall include all the necessary arrangements, permits, licenses, etc. to receive tankers and barges at the dock facility.
This procurement will be unrestricted under NAICS code 493190 (Other Warehouse and Storage) with a size standard of $36.5 million.
