Peters VA Medical Center, intends to award a sole source bridge award to Roche Diagnostics Corporation.

Peters VA Medical Center requires a bridge contract to ensure the continuity of essential viral load molecular diagnostic testing equipment, supplies and services impacting patient care.

The aforementioned contractor is currently performing under contract number 36C24226A0010 with the period of performance concluding on September 30, 2026.

The anticipated period of performance for the bridge award is six (6) months, from October 1, 2026, through March 31, 2027, with one (1), six (6) month option period.

The bridge award will be made under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) GSAM 538.7104-3(b)(ii); only one source is capable of providing the products and services required at the level of quality required because the products and services are highly specialized.

As written, the DVAs requirement for molecular testing is able to be fulfilled through GSA s Federal Supply Class (FSC) Group 66 III.
