What this contract is for
This is a Request for Information (RFI) for the purpose of conducting market research, analysis, and screening of potential capable parties to provide comprehensive inspection, testing, and mechanical integrity evaluation services for propane piping systems at the United States Coast Guard Training Center (TRACEN) Petaluma, located in Petaluma, California. The required services include pre-inspection review of equipment files, external visual inspection, non-destructive testing (NDT) such as ultrasonic thickness measurements, rectifier testing for cathodic protection systems, leak testing, corrosion and coating condition inspections, and engineering evaluation and reporting in accordance with applicable codes and standards. The objective is to verify the current condition, safety, and code compliance of all propane piping systems and associated components, and to formally document inspection results and recommendations for future maintenance and inspection intervals.
