Notice of Intent to Sole Source for AGILENT TECHNOLOGIES for the purchase of an analytical instrument maintenance service for the proprietary Agilent LCMS-20464 Custom System Configuration CROSSLAB SILVER. The Period of Performance (POP) 10/01/2026 – 09/30/2027. In accordance with Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services, the Department of Energy (DOE), National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) intends to negotiate and award a purchase order on a sole source basis to AGILENT TECHOLOGIES a renewal of the analytical instrument maintenance service for the proprietary Agilent LCMS-20464 Custom System Configuration CROSSLAB SILVER because this this instrument must be maintained by Agilent to ensure consistent, calibrated research results and to maintain safe and reliable operation of the instrument. Any other vendor working on the equipment would invalidate the equipment’s integrity. AGILENT TECHNOLOGIES is the only known source that can provide this service, and no known potential alternate sources exist which could satisfy NETL's requirements. This notice of intent is not a request or quote/proposal. Any interested party that believes it is capable of /meeting the NETL requirement described herein may identify themselves and must provide evidence of their capability to fulfill the requirement being requested by 1300 PM ED on 08/05/2026.
