UPDATE - 27 August 2026 ATTENTION POTENTIAL SOURCES: The Government is issuing this update to our previously released Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS).

We sincerely appreciate the capabilities and responses submitted during our initial market research.

Please be advised that the Government is currently conducting acquisition planning and is considering utilizing the Next Generation Ammunition & Munitions Equipment (NGAME) Multiple Award Contract (MAC) for this requirement.

CRITICAL ACTION REQUIRED: The active solicitation for the NGAME multiple-award vehicle is currently posted on SAM.gov under Solicitation Number FA853226RB002 • The solicitation is scheduled to close on September 9, 2026. • If your organization is interested in supporting this future effort and has the capability to do so, we encourage you to review the NGAME solicitation details and consider submitting a proposal to get on the contract vehicle before it closes.

NOTICE DISCLAIMER: This notice is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), nor does it guarantee that the Government will utilize the NGAME vehicle.

The Government is not responsible for any costs incurred by industry in responding to this update or the referenced solicitation. ___________________________________________________________________ UPDATE - 15 September 2025 This opportunity has been updated to notify interested parties of the following: -An estimated quantity range has been established at 150-225 units. -A drawing zip file that contains additional 20MM ATS drawings that were missing from the attached TDP has been added.

Official solicitation and documents

The full solicitation, any attachments, and the actual submission instructions live on the official listing, not on this page. Oppward summarizes public record data; it does not host or mirror the source documents.

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
