The Department of Veterans Affairs Network 08 Contracting Office has a requirement for the Microbiology Department of the Pathology and Laboratory Service within the Miami VAHCS.

The department needs a lease/reagent rental (cost per kit/test) agreement to cover equipment, service calls (including routine maintenance beyond manufacturer recommended user maintenance), reagents and consumables.

Testing is for real-time PCR nucleic acid analysis to rapidly detect (at the minimum): Clostridium difficile including the Epidemic 027 Strain from stool (CDT), Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) from nasal swabs, SARS-CoV-2, FLU A&B/RSV virus, SARS-CoV-2 virus, Strep A from throat swabs and detection of Mycobacterium tuberculosis resistance to Rifampin (MTB/RIF) from sputum.

The contract shall be for Base and up to four (4) Option Years.
