TWO (2): The purpose of this amendment is to provide answers to questions received from industry.
Therefore, the following Q&A is applicable to this solicitation.
No other terms and provisions are changed.
Question #1: Can NIST clarify what grade bars (e.g., 75, 80, 100, 150) are the 1” diameter tension rods?
Answer #1: The 1" diameter torsion rods should be ASTM A193 Grade B7 or similar.
Question #2: The SOW indicates two (2) different connections options.
Should the pricing quote be for all three (3) assemblies made of one (1) connection type?
If so, is it the threaded rod connections or the coupler connection?
Answer #2: If quoting three assemblies, two assemblies should be of the threaded rod connection type, and one assembly should be of the bar coupler connection type. ---END OF AMENDMENT--- AMENDMENT NO.
ONE (1): The purpose of this amendment is to extend the due date for accepting quotations by an additional seven (7) days.
Therefore, the due date is revised until July 23, 2026 at 1pm, ET.
