The New York City Police Department ('NYPD') is seeking an appropriate vendor to create an electronic platform and application capable of supporting the scheduling of details, assignment, billing, and reporting, for uniformed members of the service who perform outside security-related services for participating clients of the Paid Detail program. Approximately 6,500 of the NYPD's uniformed members of the service are currently eligible to utilize the Paid Detail system to work at various locations. The successful vendor must have an existing platform and application that allows for substantial expansion in the number of the uniformed officers that could potentially participate in the Paid Detail program. Responses to this procurement must be submitted via PASSPort ' the City of New York's end-to-end digital procurement platform. To respond to a Released solicitation (RFx), log in to PASSPort, go to the RFx tab, and choose Browse My RFx Responses or Browse Public RFx to locate the RFx to which you're looking to respond. Enter the EPIN or Procurement Name in the Keywords search to find the RFx. Then, click the pencil icon next to the Procurement Name of the RFx you're interested in viewing. Additionally, to view the solicitation, vendors may visit the PASSPort Public Portal at https://www.nyc.gov/site/mocs/passport/about-passport.page?utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery and click on the 'Procurement Navigator' blue button. Once there, enter the procurement EPIN (05626P0001) into the Keywords search field. For PASSPort RFx assistance, please visit https://mocssupport.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/8. How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
