What this contract is for

Requirements: TITLE Acquisition of deep ultraviolet 304 nm laser for high-dimensional flow cytometry BACKGROUND The LP Research Flow Cytometry Facility provides essential cell sorting and flow cytometry analysis services to the Experimental Transplantation and Immunotherapy Branch, and other Branches and programs within the CCR. This deep ultraviolet 304 nm laser is necessary for upgrade of our high dimension flow cytometers to allow excitation of deep ultraviolet fluorescent probes. This will allow expansion of our current high dimensional analysis capability without investing in an entirely new flow cytometer, since this unit can be installed on our Cytek spectral, LSRII, LSR Fortessa and Influx flow cytometers as required. It will allow both validation of these fluorochromes and their integration into current panels in the lab and support their use. Expansion of high-dimensional analysis capabilities requires these additional laser sources. 2.1 OBJECTIVE The objective for this purchase is the acquisition of a deep ultraviolet 304 nm laser source suitable for flow cytometry. Deep ultraviolet 304 nm laser includes the laser unit, power supply, all required cabling and operations software. All items are included in the unit cost. Installation, optimization and verification is not included in the cost and will be carried out by NCI staff. SCOPE The vendor will provide the system and supervise installation, as well as verification of operation. On year warranty support will be included with the system. CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS/ AND PERSONNEL QUALIFICATIONS The contractor will provide technical support, both through telephone and e-mail. The local applications representative will be available both for routine support and also periodic on-site training.

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. Check the set-aside listed above and confirm your business actually qualifies for it before you spend time on a proposal. See our guide to set-asides if the category is unfamiliar.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
