Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Far East, Public Works Department Atsugi, Resident Officer in Charge of Construction (ROICC) has an upcoming Base and seven (7) one-year option years single award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type performance based service contract comprised of Recurring and Non-Recurring work items at the U.S. Naval Air Facility (NAF) Atsugi, Japan.3. WORK DESCRIPTION The Contractor shall provide the following services: a. Maintenance, Inspection, and Repair for Main Electrical Substation Facility, 60Hz Power Plant Facility, and Secondary Substations. b. Maintenance, Inspection, and Repair for various substation facilities: various locations. c. Maintenance, Inspection, and Repair for various high-voltage and low voltage equipment at various locations. Maintenance and Repair of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Systems4. CONTRACTOR LICENSE REQUIREMENT Any contract resulting from this solicitation will be awarded and performed in its entirety in the country of Japan. Contractors must be duly authorized to operate and conduct business in Japan and must fully comply with all laws, decrees, labor standards, and regulations of Japan during the performance of the contract. Contractors must be registered to do business and possess an appropriate license issued by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport or prefectural government in order to perform work under this contract.5.
