What this contract is for
NSN 2540-12-417-2097,Chain Assembly, Tire. This material is being procured in accordance with RUD Ketten Rieger U. Dietz GMBH(D3800) P/N 4718816 and Freedom Defense Group, LLC (8BZZ1) P/N FDG-TTC-RP2. The required quantity is 541 EA with a 100% quantity option to be shipped to DODAAC SW3122, DLA DISTRIBUTION JACKSONVILLE, BLDG 175 SWAN ROAD, JACKSONVILLE FL 32212-0103, US with a required delivery of 120 days. FOB Origin (First Destination Transportation applies) and Inspection and Acceptance at Destination are required. This solicitation is not set-aside for small business. The material is not commercial; therefore the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12 in its solicitation for this item. However, interested suppliers may identify to the Contracting Officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with the commercial item within 15 days of this notice. This solicitation will be available on the Internet at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil// after the issue date of 07/31/2026. Due to system constraints, it may take as long as 3 business days from the stated issue date for the solicitation to post to DIBBS. Technical drawings/bid sets are not available. Hard copies of the solicitation are not available. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, proposals will be evaluated accoring to "best value" procedures on the basis of Price, Past Performance,and Delivery. All offers shall be in English and in US dollars. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the US by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979.
