What this contract is for

Request for Quote of services at JB Andrews (JBA) MD. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. JBA intends to pursue a contract award under RFO 19.104 as a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside for a base (twelve-months) plus four option year (twelve-months) periods for the referenced subject matter solicitaion criteria. The North American Industry Classification Systems Code proposed is 812320 (Drycleaning and Laundry Services) and size standard is $8.0 million dollars. This requirement is to provide routine pick-up and delivery of laundry and linen articles located across multiple organizations at JBA. Services provided will be used to support key functions and have different levels of protocols based on the speciffic mission Performance Work Statement (PWS). Delivery promptness and flexibility capabile of ensuring the accurate accountability of all articles received/returned are critical components towards the adherence of each PWS description. We are interested in a well qualified small-sized business capable of meeting this requirement. Market research has been conducted to determine there is interest, capability, and socio-economic categories of potential sources for the requirement.
