What this contract is for

This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. Responses to this notice are not offers and will not be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. At this time, questions concerning the composition and requirements for a future RFP will not be entertained. RFI QUESTION: If your firm is not the current storage contractor, describe how your firm would accomplish transition of the storage requirement while the chemical inventory remains co-located and intermingled with materials subject to the ongoing disposal contract at a contractor-owned facility. Adress any assumptions regarding access to contractor-controlled property, segregation of inventory, transfer of custody, schedule, cost, regulatory compliance and safety. See Attached Request for information for details and instructions for submission of Capability statements

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. Check the set-aside listed above and confirm your business actually qualifies for it before you spend time on a proposal. See our guide to set-asides if the category is unfamiliar.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
