What this contract is for
CURRENT AS OF 27 MARCH 2028 To support industry partners in their planning and market research efforts, the MARFORSOC Contracting Office is releasing the following acquisition forecast. This information is provided solely for informational and planning purposes to enhance industry awareness of potential acquisition opportunities. Please note, this forecast does not represent an offer, solicitation, or commitment by MARFORSOC to fund any of the requirements referenced, either partially or in full. All acquisitions remain subject to applicable statutory, regulatory, and funding requirements. The forecast includes anticipated contract actions with option years that may exceed the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) of $350,000, in accordance with FAR Part 13.5 procedures. While the forecast reflects the best available information at the time of publication, it is not comprehensive. Official contract opportunities and additional details on individual requirements will be provided when actions are announced via the Governmentwide Point of Entry (GPE) or through the issuance of solicitations. Any references to potential small business set-asides or other socioeconomic programs are preliminary and subject to change. Final determinations will be made during the acquisition process. MARFORSOC plans to issue Requests for Information (RFIs) or Sources Sought (SS) notifications ahead of each solicitation. Draft Performance Work Statements (PWS) and Statements of Work (SOW) will only be made available at the time of their respective RFI/SS or solicitation postings. How to bid on this
This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.
- Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
- Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
- Check the set-aside listed above and confirm your business actually qualifies for it before you spend time on a proposal. See our guide to set-asides if the category is unfamiliar.
- Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
