What this contract is for

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY – This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes, as a means for the Government to conduct market research, identifying interested parties and their capability to provide a Giant Voice upgrade at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ IAW the attached draft Statement of Objectives (SOO). This requirement is anticipated to utilize brand-name products pending justification approval. The current Giant Voice System has a total of forty-two (42) GV poles, but this requirement will provide for a total of twenty-nine (29) poles or towers across JB-MDL; most of these towers are a hybrid system consisting of equipment from Sircom and Federal Signal. The new, replacement GV system shall consist of twenty-nine (29) poles total across McGuire, Dix, Ranges, and Lakehurst Bases for mission critical locations. The contractor shall provide all equipment, software, speakers, wiring, electrical power, tools, materials, supplies, transportation, labor, supervision, management, and other incidentals necessary to EDFI&T the new, turnkey GV system as stated in this SOO. All equipment, supplies, and materials provided shall be new and not refurbished. Please see attached Sources Sought document and Draft SOO for more information.
