PSC: 4210 Fire Fighting Equipment Title: 2026 Tactical Water Tenders The US Forest Service intends to solicit and award a contract for three (3) Tactical Water Tender bodies custom built to Forest Service national standard specifications, mounted on Government-furnished 4X2 standard cab and chassis, per USDA Forest Service national standard specifications issued March 2024(c).
The contract award will include Tactical Water Tender bodies custom built to Forest Service national standard specifications, mounted on Government-furnished 4X2 standard cab and chassis., operational training, and delivery to various locations within California and Idaho.
The contract will be in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.1 - Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services, in conjunction with FAR Subpart 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
The resulting contract award will be a 100% Total Small Business Set – aside, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract.
The anticipated delivery date of the Tactical water Tenders and equipment, according to USDA Forest Service Specification will be before or on 24 months from the date of receipt of first Government-furnished chassis.
