What this contract is for

Call to Industry: Commercial Software RFI Background The Army is currently leveraging several enterprise contracts with leading commercial providers and actively seeking to identify and engage additional commercial companies to further enhance Army enterprise capabilities. The Enterprise Contract is the most cost-effective and efficient solution to address administrative, financial, and operational costs and establish a single IDIQ contract vehicle for all future needs, avoiding the complexities and overhead of multiple individual contracts. The Army remains committed to rigorously assessing contract requirements and driving robust competition—ensuring that innovative solutions and exceptional value are consistently delivered for both the government and the American taxpayer. Strategic sourcing through company direct enterprise contracts helps to ensure users are not overbuying on capacity and/or duplicating purchases unnecessarily, ensuring efficient spending and accelerating the delivery of proven commercial software to warfighters. This approach reduces administrative costs through volume-based buying while also removing contract and reseller passthrough fees. Utilizing enterprise contracts allows the Army to strengthen military readiness, improve operational efficiency, and deliver substantial cost savings across the enterprise. Response Guidelines Respond to this RFI by answering the below: Are you currently selling your commercial product to the government through multiple contracts/transactions (sub or prime, reseller partnerships or other indirect methods)? If yes, please reply with list of contract/agreement numbers (include credit card transactions) in Attachment 1. This RFI will be continuously open. Please include the following on response cover pages: Compa...

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
