What this contract is for
The Department of the Interior (DOI), Interior Business Center, Acquisitions Services Directorate, on behalf of the DOI, Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) is releasing this Request for Information (RFI) to seek feedback from industry to assist the Government in the improvement of requirements and the development of an acquisition strategy for a potential procurement, Commodity Internet Services Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). Please see attached documents for more information and instructions on how to respond to this RFI. The information obtained from this notice will be used for market research, informational, and planning purposes only. The information received will be used to define and develop the Government's requirements. This RFI is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be made because of this notice. All information contained in this RFI is preliminary and subject to change. It is in no way binding on the Government. The RFI is conducted in accordance with the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) FAR Part 10 and FAR 15.201. The Government does not intend to pay for information received in response to this RFI. Responders to this invitation are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. This RFI will be the basis for collecting information on available capabilities. Proprietary information and trade secrets, if any, must be clearly marked on all materials.
