What this contract is for
On April 28, 2026, the National Park Service (Service) issued a prospectus soliciting proposals to award a new ten (10) year concession contract to provide lodging, food and beverage, retail, campground (group site), firewood, and other services at Kalaloch within Olympic National Park. Site Visit The Service will host a one-day site visit for entities interested in bidding on this opportunity on May 21, 2026. The site visit provides an opportunity to tour the Concession Facilities (term defined in the Draft Contract). Advance registration is required to attend the site visit. To register, email Kimberley Gagliolo, Commercial Services Specialist, at [email protected], no later than noon (Pacific Time) on May 19, 2026. You must provide the following information when registering: Primary contact name and email Name of the entity being represented Names of all attendees Due to space constraints, the Service limits the total number of attendees per represented entity to five (5) individuals. Site visit attendees are responsible for obtaining their lodging, meals, and transportation to the Concession Facilities. Attendance at the site visit is encouraged but not required. Site visit attendees are asked not to interfere with the concession operations and not to film, record, or photograph concession employees. Questions Due If you do not understand something in the prospectus, you must submit your questions, in writing, to Kimberley Gagliolo, Commercial Services Specialist (email above), no later than noon (Pacific Time) on May 28, 2026. The Service will not answer specific questions about this prospectus during the site visit. Questions submitted must be in a format that allows the Service to copy them to Microsoft Word. How to bid on this
This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.
- Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
- Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
- This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
- Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
