What this contract is for
THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE-SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA) in coordination with the The Defense Health Agency Global Emerging Infections Surveillance program office (DHA GEIS) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, with BAO Systems, 2900 K St NW Suite 506 Washington, DC 20007 as the only responsible source that can provide hosting services for DHIS2, support services, and annual end-user training. The Government requires Hosting Services (DHIS2 and “Learn Moodle”): set up, hosting and maintenance of DHIS2 software on a designated number of servers, system monitoring and alerts, BAO Manager console access, system and infrastructure recommendations and guidance Support Services: Service hours for ad hoc backups, configuration guidance, application and database troubleshooting, database importing, end user support, , troubleshooting upgrades, version recommendations Annual Training: virtual training on relevant administrative functions, data entry, analytic processes, and/or data export. BAO Systems is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for DHIS2. It specializes in DHIS2 implementation, hosting, and support services and offers a comprehensive suite of tools which enhances system stability, performance, and security.
