Presolicitation Notice Onsite & On-Call Interventional Radiology Physician Services James J.

Peters VA Medical Center This requirement is being solicited under the authority of 38 U.S.C.

8153 and VAAR 873.

Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO2), on behalf of the James J.

Peters VA Medical Center (JJP VAMC) in the Bronx, NY, has a need for one Full-Time Equivalent (1.0 FTE) interventional radiology (IR) physician to provide onsite and on-call nonpersonal healthcare services to eligible beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

The VA is anticipating procurement of these services from a contractor that can propose a minimum of four (4) board certified/board eligible IR physicians as key personnel to be credentialed & available for scheduling with JJP VAMC.

The VA Radiology Services (and are accredited by ACR for Mammography) follow the standards of Abdominal/GU, Breast Imaging, Cardiovascular, General, Interventional, Musculoskeletal, Neuroradiology & guidelines set forth by American College of Radiology (ACR).

A contractor providing IR services shall provide services that meet or exceed the American College of Radiology Guidelines https://www.acr.org/...IRClin-Prac-Mgmt.

The required number of hours to be on site is 2,080 (1.0 FTE).

The estimated period of performance is one base year plus four one-year option periods.

Offerors will be required to submit documentation for each candidate as described in the forthcoming solicitation s Addendum to FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors.

When published, this acquisition will be solicited as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).

This acquisition is set aside for small business concerns.
