What this contract is for
DLA Weapons Support (Richmond) intends to issue a request for proposal (RFP) in accordance with FAR 12. This is notice of the Government’s intent to issue a firm-fixed price contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 48 CFR 12.603. The award shall be based on lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) evaluation criteria. Description of requirements: One (1) Haas ST20Y Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) Live Tooling, Y axis Turret Lathe in accordance with Technical Specification VIBB 26-30-1406. Performance period/completion 112 days after receipt of order. FOB Destination, Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. Fleet Readiness Center East, Marine Corp Air Station, Cherry Point, North Carolina. The complete technical data package VIBB 26-30-1406 including machine, training, technical data, IUID tag, tooling, installation, rigging, and shipping requirements will be included as a part of the solicitation. THIS IS A SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. RFQ SPE4A8-26-Q-0051 is anticipated to be issued on or around 29 July 2026.
