C-5 Nose Landing Gear (NLG) Door Actuators Assemblies LH Actuator Assembly: NSN: 1680-01-160-6520UC PN: 177560-32 RH Actuator Assembly: NSN: 1680-01-160-6519UC PN: 177560-33 LH Actuator Assembly: NSN: 1680-01-237-0231UC PN: 177560-34 RH Actuator Assembly: NSN: 1680-01-237-0230UC PN: 177560-35 These actuator assemblies are part of the C-5 NLG Door Actuation System. The NLG doors consist of two inboard doors and two outboard doors and are actuated separately from the gear. When the NLG is extended, the doors are held open by the actuators, and when the landing gear is retracted, the actuators close the doors to enclose the landing gear and streamline the aircraft. This overhaul effort will utilize a Requirements Type Contract. Contract period of performance will be five (5) years. It will consist of a one (1) year basic period and four (4) one (1) year ordering periods. The Best Estimated Quantities for each ordering period are listed below. The USAF anticipates the acquisition will be Full and Open Competition utilizing the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA).
