What this contract is for

The Missouri Army National Guard (MOARNG) is issuing this pre-solicitation notice to inform industry of an upcoming requirement for two Side-by-Side UTV’s. This procurement will be conducted in accordance with the procedures outlined in RFO 12.201-1(c)(2). Please be advised that this notice is published solely to inform industry of the Government’s intent to solicit quotations directly from at least three qualified small business dealers or suppliers of UTV’s, whose primary commerical business is the sale of UTV's. The Government does not intend to post a formal solicitation notice on SAM.gov. In accordance with RFO 12.201-1(c)(2), for acquisitions at or below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT), the Contracting Officer is electing to solicit quotations directly from suppliers. By posting this pre-solicitation notice, the Government is fulfilling the requirement to post a pre-solicitation notice in the GPE according to subpart 5.1. Disclaimer This is a pre-solicitation notice only and does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), or an Invitation for Bid (IFB). No formal solicitation document will be posted to SAM.gov for this requirement

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. Check the set-aside listed above and confirm your business actually qualifies for it before you spend time on a proposal. See our guide to set-asides if the category is unfamiliar.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
