What this contract is for
Amendment 1 transmits a list of site visit participants. Questions will be accepted until 9:00 am PT on 7/20/26. This acquisition is for sorting, consolidating, packaging, removal, and proper disposal of various types of hazardous waste from the former Odger's Petroleum site in El Portal, California, near Yosemite National Park. Waste includes petroleum and related products, petroleum-contaminated materials, drill cuttings, paint (liquid and aerosol), approximately 64 tires, an above-ground storage tank, and an LPG cylinder. The total liquid volume is estimated to be 5,700 gallons. The work also includes preparation of post-award plans (Site Health and Safety Plan (SHASP) and Liquid Consolidation Plan (LCP)), characterizing the waste, preparing waste manifests, and transporting it to appropriate disposal facility/ies. The contract will use firm fixed price lump sum pricing. Proof of liability insurance is required prior to contract performance. PROJECT LOCATION: The Site is in El Portal, California; geographic coordinates are 37.67344115581974, degrees north latitude and -119.7867072739317 degrees west longitude.
