What this contract is for

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Weapons Support (Columbus) intends to solicit for the following National Stock Number (NSN). The purpose of this contract is to provide stock replenishment coverage in support of military depots. NSN 4820-00-796-9680, Valve, Liquid Oxygen. This material is being procured in accordance with Essex Industries Inc. CAGE 19062 P/N 20C-0021-2. The required delivery is 270 days with FAT waiver or 375 days with First Article Testing (FAT). FOB Origin and Inspection and Acceptance at Origin is required. The NAICS for this item is 336310 with a business size standard of 1050. This solicitation is being issued under the First Destination Transportation (FDT) program. This solicitation is not set-aside for small business. The requirement is a Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC), and the contract period will be for a three (3) year base period. This material is commercial; therefore, the Government is using the policies contained in Part FAR 12.201-1 in its solicitation for this item.
