Notice of Intent to Sole Source: GE KELMAN Transport X2 DGA Analyzer Testing Equipment Calibration and Repair – GE Grid Solutions, LLC The Department of Energy (DOE) / Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) intends to issue a sole source award, under the authority of RFO FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services (IAW 41 U.S.C.1901 Simplified Acquisition Procedures), to GE Grid Solutions, LLC of Atlanta, GA. The contractor shall provide maintenance and calibration services on a GE-manufactured KELMAN Transport X2 DGA Analyzer Testing Equipment. Services shall be conducted by GE-certified technicians to perform all aspects of required repairs and are completed properly to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications. Given the complexity of the units, systems need regular service check-ups to ensure the health and accuracy of the testing equipment. Only the OEM can provide the specific expertise needed from its trained service teams. The resulting procurement will be conducted in accordance with RFO FAR Part 12.
