What this contract is for

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. The contract includes the following components: Regeneration clearcut harvests on nine cutting units totaling 228 acres and overstory removal liberation harvests on two units totaling 46 acres. Limited product hauling pay item. Road reconstruction work on approximately 7.3 miles of existing roads including clearing and grubbing, road surface and drainage improvements, spot aggregate placement and sign upgrades. Road maintenance service work on approximately 30 miles of existing roads. Optional service work for treatment of non-included material on 197 acres within cutting units. Remove Timber Subject to Agreement (TSTA) generated from Optional Work Items 16-23 for product located in Units 12, 13, 14,15, 16, 17, 18 and 22 if awarded. Resultant fuels reduction, piling of fuels, road system improvements and reforestation enhancement from above listed activities. This service acquisition is a total small business set-aside.
