What this contract is for

Request for Information – C&T Innovation Day White Paper Submission DLA is soliciting white papers for Clothing & Textiles (C&T) innovations in fabrics, materials, components, manufacturing processes and end item in advance of the C&T Innovation Day to be held on August 20, 2026 at the Baroni Center for Government Contracting, George Mason University. The objective is to provide DoW an opportunity to review emerging domestic industrial base technologies for potential adoption into future requirements. Scope of white papers should cover at least one of the following: Propose new capabilities Incorporate new technology into existing end items Identify areas where existing commercial solutions could alleviate ongoing supply chain bottlenecks Propose potential cost-saving solutions Identify cross?Service commonality opportunities for cost savings and scalability Provide mitigation to current supply?chain risks White paper submission information: White paper submissions are due by July 20, 2026. Firms can submit separate white papers on different innovations. Each white paper shall not exceed 2 written pages, single spaced at a 12pt font. Information beyond 2 pages will not be reviewed. White papers are to be submitted to [email protected] DLA will review all submissions and notify firms if DLA and the Services are interested in learning additional information about your submission as part of the August 20, 2026 event.
