What this contract is for
This is a Solicitation for the rental of TWO (2) 28-Ton Kalmar Forklift or equivalent and 20-Ton Kalmar Forklift or equivalent in accordance with the Statement of Work attached. To be considered for award, your quote must include the following: a. PRICE: Submit a price for the requested ForkLift rental services to include delivery and maintenance service during the rental period to Naval Station Rota in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. b. Technical: The Government will determine whether the quote is technically acceptable on a PASS/FAIL basis based on the following technical requirements: To be considered technically acceptable, you must submit a description of ForkLifts under this requirement. Please ensure to include sufficient detail to allow the Government to verify that your quote with description of rental Forklifts meets the specifications of the required boom lifts described in the attached Statement of Work (SOW) paragraph 4. c. SAM.gov Registration: You must be registered in SAM.gov with active status. This acquisition is being conducted utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12. The evaluation procedures will be in accordance with FAR 12.203, which grants the Contracting Officer broad discretion in fashioning suitable evaluation procedures, and specifically states that the procedures described in FAR Part 14 & 15 are not mandatory. The Government will award a Purchase Order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible quoter(s) whose quote conforming to the solicitation is the most advantageous to the Government, price and non-price factors considered.
