What this contract is for
Science and Technical Support Services (STSSC) Mid-Continent Region (MCR), Central Midwest of IL (CMWSC), Water Mission Area (WMA), the National Water Quality Laboratory (NWQL), and the Earth System Processes Division (ESPD) under the Water Mission Area. 1. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP). This solicitation will utilize the policies contained in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services, and in conjunction with the policies and procedures for evaluation and award prescribed in FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation, as appropriate for this acquisition. 2. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2026-01. 3. The solicitation is 100% Competitive 8(a)set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541990 (All Other Professional, Scientific and Technical Services) and the size standard is $19.5 Million. 4. Offerors are required to be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) when submitting an offer or quotation. Register at https://www.sam.gov/index.html prior to submitting your offer.
