Network Contracting Office (NCO) 10 intends to issue a sole-source solicitation to BioFire Diagnostics, LLC (BioFire), for BioFire Film Array maintenance and repairs. BioFire (the wholly-owned subsidiary of bioMérieux) is the sole manufacturer and service provider of all BioFire equipment, systems, software, including the BioFire FilmArray Torch System and associated reagents under this requirement. Per BioFire s sole-source letter, BioFire, Diagnostics, LLC is the sole source manufacturer and service provider of the BIOFIRE products . All bioMérieux Field Service Engineers are certified and qualified with extensive factory training and experience in working on the entire range of bioMérieux products. If any unauthorized third party repairs, alters, or modifies a bioMérieux instrument or the operative software, bioMérieux is not responsible for defects arising from such repair or modifications. And BioFire also confirms that, The BIOFIRE® products are only available through bioMérieux, Inc. in the USA. This procurement, therefore, is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
