Network Contracting Office (NCO) 10 intends to issue a sole-source solicitation to BioFire Diagnostics, LLC (BioFire), for BioFire Film Array maintenance and repairs. BioFire (the wholly-owned subsidiary of bioMÃ©rieux) is the sole manufacturer and service provider of all BioFire equipment, systems, software, including the BioFire FilmArray Torch System and associated reagents under this requirement. Per BioFire s sole-source letter, BioFire, Diagnostics, LLC is the sole source manufacturer and service provider of the BIOFIRE products . All bioMÃ©rieux Field Service Engineers are certified and qualified with extensive factory training and experience in working on the entire range of bioMÃ©rieux products. If any unauthorized third party repairs, alters, or modifies a bioMÃ©rieux instrument or the operative software, bioMÃ©rieux is not responsible for defects arising from such repair or modifications. And BioFire also confirms that, The BIOFIREÂ® products are only available through bioMÃ©rieux, Inc. in the USA. This procurement, therefore, is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
