What this contract is for

Pre-Solicitation Notice FSC: V222 NAICS: 485410 Description of the service: This is a non-personal service contract to provide Livorno Student Transportation to local Florence High Schools. The purpose of the contract is to provide transportation services to DOWEA non-DoWDS School Program (NDSP) authorized schools in Florence, Italy. The contractor shall provide transportation for up to 5 students. The contractor shall pay the Zona Traffico Limitato (ZTL) fee negotiated by the Government. The Performance Works Statement will be posted along with the Solicitation. Location of the work: The work to be performed under this contract will be performed throughout Camp Darby located in Pisa, Italy and travel to and from two primary locations in Florence Italy: International School of Florence (main site) and its Gymnasium. The contractor may, on occasion, be requested to adjust work hours and drop off/pick up locations to support normal school day events. Performance Period: The performance period is as follows: 18 September 2026 – 31 July 2027 (Base Period) 01 August 2027 – 31 July 2028 (Option Year One) 01 August 2028 – 31 July 2029 (Option Year Two) 01 August 2029 – 31 July 2030 (Option Year Three) 01 August 2030 – 31 July 2031 (Option Year Four) Method of Contracting: This will be a Request for Quotation (RFQ) resulting in a Firm-Fixed Price type contract. Issuance of solicitation: The solicitation will be issued in July 2026. Response date: TO BE DETERMINED.
