The solicitation will include at least 3 NSN : 2540-014684854 2540-015419228 5340-015422001 This item is being procured under the Statutory Authority 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) - Available from only one or a limited number of sources, as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 Other Than Full and Open Competition - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Product Identification Description for all of the inlcuded NSN list only 1 approved source, AMSAFE (CAGE/35FB9). The objective of this procurement is to place the item in a firm fixed price, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQC) long-term contract (LTC) of a maximum of five (5) years, divided into a base period of year (1-year) and four option periods of one (1-year). Option years are to be opted at the discretion of the Government. The total duration of the contract shall not exceed five (5) years. The Government will solicit the acquisition under FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) Part 12.201-1 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Acquisitions. The scope of this acquisition includes all items managed by Defense Logistics Agency Weapons Support for which AMSAFE (CAGE/35FB9) is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) sole source of the items being purchased.
