What this contract is for

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE, no award to follow. Pursuant to FAR Part 10 (Market Research). The United States Coast Guard (USCG), Ice Breaker, Buoy and Construction Tender (IBCT) Product Line is seeking qualified sources that are capable of providing Unplanned Dry Dock Support for the United States Coast Guard Cutter SPAR, located in Duluth, MN (on the shores of Lake Superior) in accordance with the attached Work Specification Sheet (WSS). The Work required includes, but is not limited to, the following: OD Box Major Inspection and Repair Controllable Pitch Propeller System Maintenance Controllable Pitch Propeller Hub General Maintenance Propeller Blade Removal and Installation Drydock Propulsion Shaft Seals Mechanical Overhaul and Inflatable Renewal Towing Services from Duluth, MN Sea Trial IMPORTANT NOTICE: Interested parties should register in the System for Award Management (SAM) as prescribed in FAR Clause 52.232-33. SAM can be obtained by accessing the internet at www.sam.gov, or by calling 1-866-606-8220. Companies having capabilities to provide these services are invited to submit complete information discussing their capabilities no later than the close date of this notice (5/15/2026).
