Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) has a requirement for annual calibration and certification services for ten (10) dynamometers and one (1) crane scale, with a Not-To-Exceed (NTE) line item for as-needed repairs and recalibrations. Services shall be performed in strict conformance with ASTM E74 and ISO 376 standards. Offerors must provide proof of current accreditation from a Navy-approved accrediting body (A2LA, ANAB, or NAVLAP). The full details and technical requirements are specified in the attached Request for Quote (RFQ) document.4. NAICS and Size Standard: The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333923 with a corresponding small business size standard of 1,250 employees.5.
