What this contract is for
The United States Army Contracting Command Aberdeen Proving Ground ACC APG, Installation Technology Division, Facilities Branch, is issuing this Sources Sought Notice to conduct market research and identify qualified Small Business concerns capable of supporting Fire Fighting operations at U.S. Army Garrison Aberdeen Proving Ground APG, Maryland. The supply and installation of David Clark Headsets directly support the Directorate of Emergency Services DES and the Fire and Emergency Services Division. The Government anticipates awarding a single award Firm Fixed Price contract for the supply and installation of David Clark headsets. The applicable NAICS code is 334220 Radio and Television Broadcasting Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing, and the Product Service Code PSC is 5820 Radio and television communication equipment, except airborne. The Government seeks to identify small businesses with the capability, experience, and resources necessary to provide David Clark headsets and fulfill installation requirements for the Fire Department at APG. The APG Fire Department is responsible for protecting the lives, property and environment of local citizens while supporting the integrity of an advanced and unique testing and development environment. The Department responds as an all-hazards emergency response agency to all natural and man-made disasters. They also provide pre-hospital emergency medical care and reinforce education through prevention learning and awareness courses. To support this mission, Fire Emergency Services Division Fire Division safeguards the health, safety and welfare of the community through code enforcement, loss prevention and effective fire prevention and public education programs.
