The services include training, mentoring, and the development of compelling Fictional Intelligence (FICINT) vignettes in support of the MARSOF 2030 Vision. The resultant contract will have a one-year base period, four one-year option periods, and a total estimated ceiling of $9,000,000. 2. Authority: This action is being conducted on a sole-source basis under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901, as implemented by FAR Overhaul 12.102(b) for the acquisition of commercial services using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. 3. Rationale for Sole Source: Useful Fiction LLC is the only known source with the unique qualifications and proprietary methodology required to meet the Government's needs.
