What this contract is for

Description: Army Contracting Command (ACC) - Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), on behalf of Capability Program Executive Intelligence and Spectrum Warfare CPE ISW Project Manager, Intelligence Systems and Analytics (PM IS&A) announces the issuance of a sole-source contract modification to Raytheon Company (CAGE:1NJM1) under Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract W56KGY-23-D-0005. The modification provides for the continued sustainment, maintenance, and modernization of the Cross Domain Enterprise All-Source User Repository (CENTAUR) III System. This action is necessary to support the continued execution of mission requirements. Authority: The contract modification was awarded on a sole-source basis under the authority of 10 U.S.C. § 3204(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." Market research confirmed that only the incumbent, Raytheon, possesses the unique capabilities, proprietary data, and specialized technical expertise required to meet the Government's requirements without causing unacceptable delays or a significant duplication of costs. Justification and Approval (J&A) Availability: Justification and Approval (J&A) for this action is not currently available for release since it is going through security reviews. The Government will post it as an amendment to this notice as soon as the J&A passes security reviews. Upon completion of the security review, this notice will be amended to attach the J&A and its posting period will be extended for a full 30 days. This special notice serves as the public announcement of this contract action. Points of Contact: Contract Specialist: Cuong Luu, [email protected] Procuring Contracting Officer: Scott Butterfiel...

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
