Currently, past performance is contemplated to be slightly more important than price. The FAA is considering the incorporation of terms for annual adjustments based on the 'Total Increase' amount in the header of the General Schedule (GS) salary tables, relevant to geographic location. The FAA seeks a contract solution that is fair and reasonable, and mitigates future economic risks for both parties throughout the life of the contract.
