What this contract is for

Update 02 Released: 7/1/2026 The FAA is considering a competitive award strategy focusing on base contract year pricing, with past performance potentially prioritized over the lowest price. Currently, past performance is contemplated to be slightly more important than price. The FAA is considering the incorporation of terms for annual adjustments based on the 'Total Increase' amount in the header of the General Schedule (GS) salary tables, relevant to geographic location. These salary tables are publicly accessible at the following website: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/pay-leave/salaries-wages/2026/general-schedule This acquisition strategy is not yet finalized and subject to change. The FAA seeks a contract solution that is fair and reasonable, and mitigates future economic risks for both parties throughout the life of the contract. RESPONSE REQUESTED: The FAA seeks to confirm adequate competition exists if the contemplated strategy above is used. If your company has already responded to this announcement, please send a brief follow-up email to the POC of this announcement confirming your interest and intent to submit a competitive proposal if/when a solicitation is released. If your company has not yet submitted a response to this announcement, please read the full announcement below and respond accordingly. If you are interested but have concerns about this strategy, please propose an alternative that ensures fair annual adjustments and ensures all future option periods can be exercised unilaterally by the FAA throughout the life of the contract. (end of update) ________________________________________________________________________________________________________ UPDATE 01 RELEASED: 6/18/2026 The announcement below and the draft PWS have been updated t...

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
