What this contract is for

This action supports the procurement of thirty (30) each, PRC-648 Personal Locator Beacon’s (PLB) for E-2D Production Flight Crews, under contract N00421-25-G-0007. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.103-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." Purpose of this Notice: THIS NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date of this synopsis. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
