U.S. DEPARTMENT OF THE TREASURY OFFICE OF TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE Information Technology Manager The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Technical Assistance (OTA) supports the development of strong financial sectors and sound public financial management in countries where assistance is needed and there is a strong commitment to reform. OTA provides technical assistance in over 50 countries in five functional areas: economic crimes, government debt and infrastructure finance, budget and financial accountability, banking and financial services, and revenue administration. OTA is seeking an Information Technology (IT) Manager to provide a wide range of IT management and administrative services in support of its global projects. The person selected will be hired under a personal services contract. This position is located at OTA headquarters in Washington, DC. This is not a remote position. Some travel may be required. Qualifications: Significant, proven working experience as an IT manager or relevant experience successfully implementing IT strategies and IT security policies, preferably in the public sector Technical management experience in computer networks and hardware and software systems Expert knowledge of information technology standards and practices to include: knowledge of IT applications and systems (e.g. operating systems and user interfaces) experience implementing new technologies and evaluating implemented technologies experience in preparing and testing disaster recovery and business continuity plan experience in developing, implementing and enforcing information security and control framework, policy and procedures Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong organizational skills and significant project management experience Proven experie...
