What this contract is for
2 July 2026 NOTICE OF POTENTIAL CHANGE TO TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS The 31st Contracting Squadron (31 CONS) wishes to advise all interested parties and prospective offerors that the technical requirements associated with the subject solicitation for a lowboy trailer may be subject to modification prior to the solicitation's closing date. Specifically, the 31st Contracting Squadron has been notified by its mission partner, the 31st Logistics Readiness Squadron (31 LRS), that the drive configuration for the truck to be used with the lowboy trailer may change from 6x4 to 4x2. As of the date of this notice, this change has not yet been finalized; however, prospective offerors are advised that such a revision remains highly probable. In light of the above, please be further advised that responses to questions submitted to date will not be published prior to 21 July 2026, given the high likelihood that this solicitation will be both extended and subject to a substantial modification of its technical specifications. Any change to the requirement will be formally communicated through an official amendment to this solicitation. All prospective offerors are strongly encouraged to monitor this solicitation on a regular basis and to remain informed of all developments, which will continue to be published exclusively on SAM.gov. It is the sole responsibility of each interested party to review all amendments and updates posted to this solicitation. The Government assumes no liability for the failure of any offeror to obtain, review, or acknowledge such updates. Thank you for your continued interest in this requirement. ************************************** Attention to offeror: 11 June 2026: Amendment 2 has been posted to postpone the Offers due date ***********************************...

How to bid on this
This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.
- Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
- Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
- This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
- Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
