What this contract is for

The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract on a competitive basis for the procurement of multiple SE Items. These items are attached to this posting titled, "SE ITEM LIST 07-02". These items are in support of the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Israel SH-60F Program. Specific information regarding solicitation N68335-26-Q-1129 will be issued and posted on the SAM website in the near future. No telephone or written requests for the solicitation will be accepted. Amendments to the solicitation, if issued, will be posted to the same website. After solicitation release, vendors should regularly access the website to ensure they have all of the amendments. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The Government is not obligated to pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis. This synopsis is for administrative purposes only. It does not constitute a solicitation for bid or proposals, and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government. The information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for award of a competitive contract.

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. Check the set-aside listed above and confirm your business actually qualifies for it before you spend time on a proposal. See our guide to set-asides if the category is unfamiliar.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
