The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), on behalf of the F/A-18 and EA-18G Program Office (PMA-265), is issuing this Sources Sought notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support a requirement for the High-Speed Video Network (HSVN) Digital Video Recorder (HDVR) Production. The objective of this effort is to procure supplies and services to resolve fiber optics transceiver obsolescence issues within the HDVR. This includes support of non-recurring engineering efforts, redesign, and qualification of obsolete components to meet all existing performance specifications, ensuring two-way interchangeability between all HDVR software variants. It will also include procurement of the 68 Fiber Optic Kits. The HDVR provides added convenience and reliability by utilizing the same Data Transfer Devices (DTD) across systems, which reduces the logistics footprint required to support data recording. The HDVR utilizes one removable memory device to store mission data, eliminating the need for multiple systems to load and read data on DTDs.
