What this contract is for

This is a Sources Sought Notice issued solely for market research purposes in accordance with FAR Part 10. This is not a solicitation, Request for Proposal (RFP), or Request for Quote (RFQ). Responses are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government. Purpose The Indian Health Service (IHS), Gallup Indian Medical Center (GIMC), Gallup, New Mexico, is conducting market research to determine the availability and capability of qualified Indian Economic Enterprises (IEEs) and Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEEs) capable of providing professional medical coding, auditing, and medical data entry support services under the authority of the Buy Indian Act. The Government intends to use responses to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy, including whether sufficient qualified IEE/ISBEE vendors exist to support a Buy Indian Set-Aside. Description of Requirement The contractor shall provide remote medical coding, auditing, and data entry support services for approximately 36,000 medical encounters over a six-month period. Services include: ICD-10-CM coding CPT and HCPCS coding Evaluation and Management (E/M) coding Medical record auditing RPMS Patient Care Component (PCC) coding Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation review Data entry Coding quality assurance Encounter tracking Monthly reporting Bi-monthly coding audits The contractor shall support inpatient and outpatient encounters across numerous medical specialties.
